What you need
An iPhone running iOS 26 or later, and an internet connection to turn recordings into notes. Cleriq works with conversations in English.
Common questions
Where are my notes?
On your iPhone. Your recordings, transcripts and notes are stored there, for as long as the keep setting you choose.
Why does Cleriq need an internet connection?
The final transcript and the summary are made in the cloud. Offline, you’ll see a draft transcript made on your iPhone. The rest runs automatically once you’re back online. See Privacy for exactly what’s sent and where.
Which languages does Cleriq understand?
English, in any accent. Cleriq transcribes and summarizes conversations in English for now. A meeting in another language won’t come out well.
Why do I have to sign in with Apple?
So Cleriq can keep track of your plan’s hours, even if you reinstall the app. There’s no password, and Cleriq asks Apple for no name and no email. Recording never needs an account.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I share a note with someone?
Open the note, tap ⋯, then Share…, then Link. Choose how long the link lasts (1 day, 7 days, 30 days or Forever, or until the note is deleted if its keep setting deletes it), then send it however you like. It opens in any web browser, and the person you send it to doesn’t need Cleriq or an account. You need to be signed in with Apple to make a link.
The link shows the note’s summary and next steps, and the transcript lines behind each highlighted point, with who said them and when. It doesn’t include the audio or the full transcript. Anyone with the link can read it, so send it only to people you’d show the note to. The note is locked on your iPhone before it’s uploaded, and only the link can open it, so we can’t read it. See Privacy for the details.
How do I stop sharing a link?
Open the note, tap ⋯, then Share…. The Shared link card shows the link and when it expires: tap Revoke. A link also ends when it expires, when its note is deleted (by you or by its keep setting), or when you delete your account. Once a link ends, it stops opening and our server deletes its copy.
I changed a note after sharing it. Does the link change?
Not by itself. A link shows the note as it was when you shared it. To share the newer version, open Share… and tap Update Shared Copy. The link stays the same and shows the update.
A Cleriq link someone sent me won’t open
If the page says the link has ended, it expired or the sender revoked it, so ask them for a new one. If it says the link is incomplete or doesn’t open, part of it was probably lost when it was copied: everything after the “#” is needed. Ask the sender to copy it again. To report a shared note, use “Report this note” at the bottom of its page.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a note in the app and it’s gone from your iPhone, and any link to it ends. To erase everything at once, open Settings in Cleriq and tap “Delete everything on this phone”. Every link you’ve shared ends too. It can’t be undone.
To delete your account, open Settings, tap “Delete account” (it shows while you’re signed in), and sign in with Apple to confirm. Everything our server holds about you is deleted, including your shared links, and your notes stay on your iPhone. Unused hours are lost, and deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription: cancel it with Apple. Can’t open the app? Email macbethlabs@gmail.com.
